And like previous years, we’re doing it all for a good cause. By participating you’re helping us raise funds for grassroots organisations fighting to protect our wild spaces before they are gone for good.

WHERE?
The Gone4Good Long route as well as Gone4Good Lite, starts at Sentinel Ocean Alliance in Hout Bay, and finishes at Gone. Outdoor Supply Co. in Constantia, Cape Town.
Gone4Good Joburg starts and finishes at Gone. Outdoor, 44 Stanley.
WHEN?
Gone4Good kicks off on the 1st of July and will end on the 31st of July.
Gone4Good is more than a trail run.
It’s our goal this year to raise as much funds as possible for Sentinel Ocean Alliance and The Friends of Table Mountain.
Getting involved is easy! Sign up for the challenge and make a donation, or become a fundraiser yourself.
In case you missed last year, these are the deets worth knowing:
- This is not a race. Don’t expect a start/finish line blow-up banner, aid stations, medical support, medals or an overly excited MC on the mic.
- This is a suggested route from one point to another. It's an opportunity to get out there and explore your backyard or challenge yourself to see what you're capable of.
- Use it as motivation to get moving, slot it into your training plan, or make a whole day out of it with friends and family. However you do it, is up to you.
- When signing up you will receive the route, fundraising information, our packing list and more.
- There are no costs involved, but we encourage you to make a donation to the fundraiser.

The fastest runners and local legend will be determined by Strava and announced the first week in August.
You can only be the "fastest runner" in one category.
The 'Local Legend' is the person who has completed the Cape Town Long route the most times.
To be in the draw for the 'Fundraiser Prize' you need to raise at least R1000.
Lucky draw winners will be randomly selected and announced on Mondays in July.
