12 hours

Give the people a short description of your MicroAdventure.
Day trip from Cape Town to hike Matroosberg Peak, one of the highest points in the Western Cape (2249m). This peak regularly gets snow in winter. The hike is approx. 8 hours if you take breaks for throwing snowballs. :) 

How do you get to the start? Please share some directions.
Approx. 2 hr drive from Cape Town to Matroosberg Private Nature Reserve, which is located past Ceres off the R46

How much did it cost (per person)?
R0 - R250 per person

Best time to go?
Daytime. Winter for a chance of seeing snow.

Probably, but more fun with friends.
