Day trip from Cape Town to hike Matroosberg Peak, one of the highest points in the Western Cape (2249m). This peak regularly gets snow in winter. The hike is approx. 8 hours if you take breaks for throwing snowballs. :)Â

Approx. 2 hr drive from Cape Town to Matroosberg Private Nature Reserve, which is located past Ceres off the R46

Daytime. Winter for a chance of seeing snow.
